Conference – Women Moving Forward in London – 23 October 2009

Registration is now open for Women Moving Forward in London - Local good practice in working with women offenders & ex-offenders on Friday 23 October.
 
This London-focussed conference will follow women’s journeys through the criminal justice system and highlight how you and your borough can help prevent imprisonment, assist resettlement and reduce re-offending.
 
The event is led by Women Moving Forward – empowering women to change the criminal justice system based on their experiences. Women Moving Forward is facilitated by Women in Prison and the conference is supported by Clinks and London Probation.

Who is the conference for?

 

-          Senior managers, commissioners and frontline staff in London local authorities (particularly drug and alcohol services, children’s services, housing)
-          Health, probation and police services in London
-          London VCS organisations working with women offenders and ex-offenders
 
Registration is free but booking is essential.
